Subject Matter Expert - Long Range Surveillance - USCG CG-931 at INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LLC – District of Columbia

Insight Technology Solutions will be pursuing a contract supporting Program Management, Business Management, and Integrated Logistics Support services for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Office of Aviation Acquisition (CG-931) and its subordinate aviation programs. This work will include but not be limited to administrative, business finance accounting, requirements analysis, and risk management. Support includes services related to leading, facilitating, and ensuring the strategic planning, implementation, coordination, integration, and evaluation of programmatic activities. As part of this effort, we are looking to identify a Long Range Surveillance Program Support - Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities/Qualifications include:

• Provide the Assistant Program Executive Officer (APEO) Aviation and aviation program managers with Program Management, Business and Integrated Logistics Support services throughout the phases of the USCG Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF).
• Must have at least six years’ experience in USCG major systems acquisitions; at least eight years’ experience is desired.
• A minimum ten-years’ experience in implementing systems engineering strategies
• Experience with USCG-unique avionics and mission system architectures as installed or being developed for USCG aircraft is desired
  
• Preparing required research, analysis, and documentation incidental to the Obtain and Produce/Deploy & Support phases of the acquisition life cycle
• Support an Acquisition Decision Event (ADE) to enter Production Phase and follow-on actions as directed by Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADM), in accordance with COMDTINST M5000.10 (series) for major systems acquisitions, DHS Directive 102-01, DHS Instruction/Guidebook 102-01-001, and other applicable acquisition directives and instructions.
