Pharmacy Resident at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• Round-the-clock department servicing every area of patient care within the hospital with more than 45 dynamic workers consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• All technicians are nationally certified, or will obtain certification within one year of hire.
• The Pharmacy Resident position has a base hourly rate of $28.20, annualized to $58,656. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This full-time position will require you to work a shift of 7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hours a week, with Holiday and Weekend rotation.

What is required for this position:

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university program equivalent; two to four years related experience and/or training preferred but not required
• Indiana Pharmacist License required, to be obtained by August 1 of residency year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Must be able to reach and interpret all physicians’ orders
