Job Description
Job Summary:
The 340B Analyst will serve as primary internal and external contact for all 340B related matters. The individual will develop and maintain internal relationships (finance, legal, and IT) and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, split-billing software vendors, and third-party administrator TPA vendors) as needed. The position will ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, maintain contracts, provide financial and regulatory reporting to the Authorizing Official and 340B Oversight Committee, reconcile revenue and expenses, and coordinate internal and external audit practices.
Required Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred: an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experience is closely related to the duties of the job
- Advanced training or related experiences in Business or Healthcare related field
- Experience in financial operations and analysis of revenue and expense trends and processes
- Familiarity with payroll and staff scheduling processes and management
- Experience in healthcare system with an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle preferred
- Ability to prepare, evaluate, and understand implications of financial reports and trends within Pharmacy.
- Ability to accurately analyze and resolve Pharmacy billing issues with patient and vendor accounts
- 2 years’ experience in 340B related operations preferred
- Pharmaceutical purchasing/inventory experience, and previous hospital pharmacy and/or hospital billing experience preferred
- Previous experience as a compliance analyst, auditor, or similar 340B role preferred
- Proficiency with at least one split billing vendor/platform preferred
- Possess in-depth understanding of contract pharmacy operations*
- Knowledge of the healthcare environment, electronic health records, and 340B program in general*
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to 340B and associated billing practices*
- Experience presenting to management staff and/or C-suite leadership
Licenses and/or Certifications

- South Carolina Pharmacy Technician Registration
- *Must begin 340B Advanced Certificate Program within first 3 months of hire and complete within 9 months of hire

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software systems including EHR or UKG payroll system
