Junior HVAC and Controls Technician at Blue Frontier, Inc – Boca Raton, Florida

We are seeking a motivated HVAC and Controls Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and develop your skills and work with new and groundbreaking HVAC technology on maintenance commissioning and operations under the guidance of experienced professionals. We at Blue Frontier are racing to solve arguably the biggest sustainability problem in the world with our disruptive space conditioning technology and business models. Blue Frontiers patented AC system combines liquid desiccant dehumidification with indirect evaporative cooling to reduce electricity use by up to 90%. The desiccant is recharged and stored when electricity is the cleanest or lowest cost, and later used to deliver cooling when electricity is polluting or costly. These features enable our system to solve an array of todays largest sustainability problems while improving indoor comfort and occupant health.

• Assist senior technicians in commissioning, operation and maintenance of Liquid Desiccant HVAC systems according to factory specifications and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and controls to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Learn to calibrate and program HVAC control systems for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
