Obstetrics Patient Navigator at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall – Newburgh, New York

Rate Range: $25.00-$30.00

The incumbent in this position, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for guiding the obstetric patient through the evaluation, preadmission process and surgical experience in an efficient and well-organized manner. This role serves as the link between the hospital and the patient in connecting with services surrounding the hospital experience to ensure continuity of care. Maintains responsibility for explaining hospital procedures, identifying patient needs and proactively addressing patient concerns or challenges. Focus on building positive ongoing relationships with surgeons, patients and their families to ensure their experience is always positive.
