The Alamo Trust, Inc. is looking for a Financial Project Assistant to join the team! ?

POSITION SCOPE
The primary role of the Financial Projects Assistant is to assist the Financial Project Manager in maintaining and monitoring the financial aspects of the Alamo Plan. This may include managing internal and external reporting, assisting with billing reviews, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with Financial Project Coordinator and Financial Project Manager to help ensure invoices and payment deadlines are met.
- Enter Alamo Plan invoices into OIS for processing with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Enter invoices in NetSuite, to be reviewed by Financial Project Manager.
- Review and processing of vendor payment applications for reimbursable expenses while adhering to and upholding our travel reimbursement policies
- Record invoice payments in OIS.
- Draft Pay Recs for GLO funded invoices.
- Undertake finance project tasks as required.
- Assist in creating internal and external financial reporting material.
- Review and verify accuracy of invoices with responsible project managers. Follow up on revisions and issues as needed.
- Provide additional project coordination and administrative support as requested.
- Attend meetings as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related fields, preferred.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles required.
- Two or more years of equivalent experience in related fields
- Must be proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who excels at working in a dynamic and changing environment
- Strong interpersonal, strategical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and/or contribute to a high volume of complex tasks and prioritizing workflow and a wide range of projects at any given time in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong team-orientation and professional attitude.
