Are you passionate about data and driven by the challenge of building innovative, user-centered solutions? As a Product Owner - Data, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex ideas into powerful, data-driven products that improve user experiences and drive business outcomes.


What You'll Do
  • Own the Product Vision: Collaborate with Product Management to define epics, stories, requirements, and specifications based on the product roadmap.
  • Drive Agile Excellence: Plan and prioritize the product backlog, define sprints, and oversee release planning to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Be the Bridge: Serve as the first point of contact for developers, clarifying tickets and requirements, and fostering seamless communication within the SCRUM team.
  • Lead Key Meetings: Take charge of daily stand-ups, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and pre-planning meetings, ensuring alignment and progress across teams.
  • Shape User Experiences: Partner with the UX team to define intuitive user interfaces and conduct software usage research, including usability testing.
  • Champion Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of critical technical documents, including user manuals, quick guides, release notes, and requirement specifications.
  • Optimize Processes: Collaborate with Software Development, Quality Management, and Product Management teams to review and refine development processes.
  • Elevate Product Architecture: Work closely with technical and product leaders to evaluate and enhance product architecture for scalability and performance.

What We're Looking For

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or a similar role in agile software development environments.
  • Proven experience in working on data-focused projects, including data analysis, data integration, or data-driven product development.
  • Familiarity with defining and prioritizing epics, user stories, and technical requirements, particularly in data-centric applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and data integration methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, ETL tools, or similar).
  • Familiarity with usability testing and UX design processes, particularly for data visualization or data-driven applications.

Agile Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban).
  • Ability to lead grooming sessions, sprint planning, and pre-planning meetings, ensuring clarity and feasibility of user stories.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Strong technical writing skills to create and maintain user manuals, quick user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, and product managers.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Experience collaborating with software development teams to refine processes and optimize delivery.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving software development, quality management, and product management.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate software usage, usability testing outcomes, and data-driven insights to improve product offerings.
  • Capable of troubleshooting and resolving complex data-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or data-driven industries is highly desirable.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or PMI-ACP are a plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
