About the Role:

Grover Lewis Johnson is looking for experienced attorneys to help expand our business. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in a variety of legal matters. You will be expected to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our clients receive the best possible legal representation and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):

• Experience in insurance defense work, both 1st and 3rd party

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
• Draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal matters

Skills:

As an Attorney, you will be using your legal expertise and analytical skills to provide legal advice and representation to clients. You will need to have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, judges, and other legal professionals. You will also need to have strong research and writing skills to draft legal documents and pleadings. Additionally, you will need to have strong negotiation skills to represent clients in settlement negotiations. Finally, you will need to have strong time management skills to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
