Maintenance Manager at National Food and Beverage Incorporated – Dallas, Texas

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of company rules and regulations by the Handbook guidelines.
• Responsible for all aspects of the maintenance functions
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of procedures of food security with members of the production with the production management team.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and consistency of all food products NF & B
• Responsible for maintaining all of security, including but not limited to security programs and incentives
• Maintain indicators key performance for operations to help comply with the production specifications and product standards, as well as to reduce costs, maximize productivity and profitability
• Responsible for performing assigned tasks, which may include inventory (accurately counting) of fasteners, gaskets, belts, etc. Cleaning of shop, which may include polishing of tools and sorting of parts. Breakdown of packaging from orders and disposal of the packaging.
• Monitored production lines such as cap seals.

Knowledge:

• Mechanical - knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Mathematics - knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculations, statistics and their applications
• Design - knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical drawings of precision, diagrams, drawings, and models.
• English language - knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Skills:

• Equipment maintenance - perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is necessary.
• Operation monitoring - watching gauges, dials, PLC or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. The evaluation of equipment performance data tables improve the OEE.
• Repair - repair machines or systems using the needed tools, in a sanitary environment of food.
• Operation and Control - control operations of equipment or systems.
• Electrical and electronics-solution of problems and repair
• Welding - stainless steel

Abilities:

• Sensitivity of the problem - the ability to know when something is wrong or is going to go wrong. Which implies the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
• Firmness of arm - the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving is the arm or holding the arm and hand in a position.
