This role sits at the heart of a fast-moving tech environment where talent, culture, and operational excellence come together to shape the employee experience end-to-end. You will act as both a strategic recruiter and a hands-on HR operator, supporting the full employee lifecycle within a software development agency. The position blends high-volume and specialized recruitment with people operations, ensuring both strong hiring outcomes and seamless internal HR processes. You will work closely with managers and leadership to improve hiring strategies, enhance candidate experience, and strengthen organizational performance. The environment is highly collaborative, remote-first, and deeply integrated with AI-driven HR tools and workflows. This is a key role for someone who thrives in autonomy, continuous improvement, and building scalable people practices in a dynamic tech setting.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for both technical and non-technical roles, including sourcing, interviewing, coordinating, and closing candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, refine selection criteria, and continuously optimize recruitment pipelines.
- Proactively source and headhunt specialized talent while ensuring a strong and consistent candidate experience.
- Track and analyze recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and conversion rates, and recommend process improvements.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives through content, platform engagement, and talent market positioning.
- Manage core HR operations including onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and performance follow-ups using HR systems.
- Support managers with day-to-day people matters, including engagement, employee relations, and organizational support.
- Ensure HR data accuracy, compliance with employment standards, and continuous improvement of internal processes and tools.
- Participate in compensation, job classification, and performance evaluation processes, ensuring internal equity and structure.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities, actively integrating AI tools into HR and recruitment workflows.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or Talent & Culture roles, with strong emphasis on active recruitment.
- Experience in a fast-paced tech, SaaS, or agency environment, ideally with technical hiring exposure.
- Strong ability to manage multiple recruitment and HR priorities simultaneously with high autonomy.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment.
- Experience with HR systems such as BambooHR and collaboration tools like Notion is an asset.
- Comfortable using or experimenting with AI tools in a professional HR context.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and candidates in a remote-first environment.
