RN-ASU in Independence, Iowa at Buchanan County Health Center

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care in the Ambulatory Surgical Services area. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. C onsistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support, AC LS, and PALS required.

One year prior professional nursing experience required.

Demonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice required

Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others.

Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.

Excellent team player and communication skills required.
