Job Description
Walden Savings Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Servicing team. As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the operational functions of our residential, construction, and consumer loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with Bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
This position reports to Loan Servicing Manager
What You'll Do- Board new residential, construction, and consumer loans on the Bank's core processing system.
- Fund loans and process construction loan advances accurately and timely.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure loan documentation and system data are complete and accurate.
- Process loan payments and other servicing transactions.
- Review daily and monthly servicing reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Follow established service standards when communicating with internal departments, customers, attorneys, and other third parties.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking laws and regulations.
- Build positive customer relationships by providing outstanding service and referring customers to appropriate Bank personnel for additional products and services.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn banking software systems.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience servicing mortgages and consumer loans preferred • Prior secondary marketexperience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae preferred • Experience with COCC preferred
Compensation
The expected pay for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
