Responsibilities

HR Talent Specialist

Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is seeking an HR Talent Specialist to join our Human Resources team at our Corporate Office in Fort Mitchell, KY.

As a member of our Human Resources team, you'll play a key role in attracting top talent, managing onboarding programs, supporting HR systems and processes, and helping strengthen our employer brand. What You'll Do

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, drug screenings, and other hiring-related programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a successful transition into the organization
  • Assist and coordinate college recruiting initiatives and represent Drees Homes at career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain employee data and process personnel changes within the HRIS while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Support employment branding initiatives, recruitment marketing efforts, and social media recruiting platforms
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide reporting and insights to support employee retention efforts
  • Generate HR reports and support performance review, survey, and compliance-related processes
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, community involvement programs, and other Human Resources projects as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes
  • Experience supporting multiple locations and partnering with a variety of business leaders
  • HRIS experience required; UKG experience preferred
  • Applicant Tracking System experience; iCIMS experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus
