Job Description
As a Client Services Representative, you will play a vital role in our outpatient Neurology office. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, assisting with insurance queries, and ensuring a smooth front desk experience. This role is perfect for an organized and dependable individual who thrives in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide necessary information.
- Enter patient data into the electronic health record system with attention to detail.
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Handle patient complaints and queries in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth office operations.
- Stay updated on office policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the office manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
