This position combines deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, helping shape ERP capabilities across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and finance functions.
The ideal candidate will champion Clean Core principles, introduce automation and AI-assisted development approaches, and raise engineering standards across the organization.

The Staff ERP Developer will provide technical leadership for SAP development initiatives, ensuring high-quality solutions, disciplined engineering practices, and scalable ERP capabilities. This role will act as a subject matter expert across ERP modules while driving modernization, automation, and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for core ERP modules and provide architectural guidance across business-critical processes.
• Design and develop custom SAP solutions using OOP ABAP, RAP, OData services, CDS Views, AMDP, BRF+, and Custom Fields & Logic.
• Establish and enforce Clean Core governance practices, ensuring sustainable development approaches and minimizing unnecessary system modifications.
• Lead technical discussions and delivery coordination with system integration partners during S/4HANA upgrades and enterprise implementations.
• Define development standards, code quality practices, and secure deployment processes across SAP environments.
• Design and manage automated testing frameworks, including ABAP Unit testing, to reduce regression risks and improve release quality.
• Develop high-performance RAP and OData applications while maintaining clear separation between backend services and UI technologies.
• Create developer productivity solutions using modern tools such as SAP ADT, VS Code integrations, scripts, and AI-assisted development technologies.
• Build automation and integration patterns that improve development efficiency and reinforce technical standards.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical support throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor developers and contribute to enterprise-wide SAP deployments and full lifecycle implementation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and finance to deliver effective ERP solutions.

The ideal candidate is a senior SAP development professional with strong hands-on technical expertise, architectural experience, and the ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives. This role requires a combination of deep ERP knowledge, modern development skills, and strong collaboration capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of SAP development experience across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Proven experience working as a technical lead or senior developer on enterprise SAP initiatives.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with OOP ABAP, RAP, OData services, CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing strategies for SAP custom developments.
• Strong understanding of ERP functional areas including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement, and finance.
• Experience leading distributed development teams and coordinating onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Proficiency with modern development tools and version control platforms such as SAP ADT and Git-based solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows, automation frameworks, or productivity tooling is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP services, extensibility models, and modern SAP architecture practices is preferred.
• Experience delivering RAP and OData V2/V4 applications for enterprise business scenarios is a plus.
• Background in full lifecycle SAP rollouts across multiple industries is preferred.

• Competitive annual base salary range of $171,191.48 - $285,319.13 USD, depending on experience, skills, education, location, and other relevant factors.
