In this role, you'll evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or disability. You'll collaborate with physicians, therapy assistants, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver outstanding patient-centered care.

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable functional goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to improve independence and quality of life.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate discharge planning beginning at evaluation.

• Supervise and collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with Indiana practice regulations.
• Serve as a clinical resource for rehabilitation staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support therapy students through mentorship and clinical instruction opportunities.
• Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and department projects.

• Complete timely and accurate evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and treatment documentation.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and departmental standards.
• Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and billing requirements.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Indiana Occupational Therapist License.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

• Acute care or hospital-based occupational therapy experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.
