Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified
New Graduates Welcome!
The Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified (COTA) provides compassionate, comprehensive treatment to maximize each client's functional potential in all areas of daily living including self-care, work and leisure. Treatment will be physician referred and directed and guided through collaboration with a Registered Occupational Therapist.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Requires a graduate of a two-year college Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate Degree.
- Minimum Experience: One year experience in a health care setting
- Preferred Experience: Two to three years of experience in a health care setting.
- Certifications Required: Certification of COTA by National Board for Health Care Professionals Certification of Occupation Therapy. Current CPR certification.
