  • Mentor and train PLC Field Technicians, providing technical guidance and reviewing their work.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex field issues and system failures.
  • Ensure technical consistency, quality, and adherence to standards across field teams.
  • Integrate PLC systems with SCADA/HMI platforms such as Ignition and FactoryTalk.
  • Configure and validate industrial communication protocols including Modbus/IP, Modbus/UDP, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, MQTT, and OPC UA.
  • Produce high-quality redlines, as-built documentation, and commissioning reports.
  • Coordinate with Lead PLC Technicians, PLC Engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment on technical deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with PLC systems in industrial or construction environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms; strong working knowledge of Siemens or Schneider Electric systems.
  • Mastery of Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Linx, RS Linx Classic, RSNetWorx, and FactoryTalk Activation Manager.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PLC processor redundancy configuration and validation.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking, communication protocols, and distributed architectures.
  • Proven leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, network diagrams, and mechanical plans.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (95%)

Physical Requirements:
