Recruiter - Construction Skilled Trades

This role focuses on high-volume recruitment for skilled trades positions within the construction industry, supporting fast-paced staffing needs across multiple projects and clients. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified trades professionals while building strong, reliable talent pipelines. The position requires a proactive recruiter who thrives in urgent, deadline-driven environments and can balance multiple open roles simultaneously. You will partner closely with internal account teams to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored hiring solutions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will engage regularly with candidates to ensure a smooth and positive hiring experience. This is a remote role offering exposure to a dynamic, rapidly growing staffing environment where speed, accuracy, and quality of hire are critical.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for skilled trades and construction roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate placement.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using job boards, referrals, social media, and industry networking strategies.
  • Partner with account managers and internal stakeholders to understand client hiring needs and deliver timely staffing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, compliance documentation, and recruitment tracking within internal systems.
  • Ensure consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide a positive and professional experience.
  • Respond quickly to high-volume and urgent hiring demands, including occasional evening or weekend support as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and contribute to overall staffing efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of dedicated recruiting experience focused specifically on skilled trades or construction roles.
  • Strong sourcing expertise with the ability to identify and engage qualified trades professionals quickly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to perform in high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environments with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Experience with recruitment or ATS platforms such as Avionte, JazzHR, or Fieldglass is a plus.
  • MSP/VMS recruiting experience is an advantage.
  • Bilingual abilities are considered a plus.
  • High level of professionalism, adaptability, and resilience under pressure.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience.
