Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Food Expeditor to support daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest dining experiences. The Food Expeditor plays a critical role in maintaining quality and consistency by coordinating communication between the kitchen and service teams, monitoring ticket times, and ensuring that every dish is delivered accurately and at peak presentation.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and manage the timely flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room

· Review completed dishes for accuracy, temperature, presentation, and overall quality standards

· Communicate effectively with culinary and front-of-house teams to support smooth service operations

· Maintain organization of the expo line and ensure orders are prioritized appropriately

· Assist with managing ticket times and notifying service staff of delays or modifications

· Ensure proper garnishing, plating, and final presentation prior to service

· Maintain cleanliness and proper food handling standards in accordance with safety regulations

· Support the team as needed to ensure an efficient and professional service environment

Qualifications:

· Previous restaurant experience required; expeditor experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

· Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities during high-volume service

· Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
