Job Description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Outpost Supervisor for Postcard Cabins Blake Brook, located at 76 Mountain Road in Epsom, NH 03234. Hiring pay starting at $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Purpose:

To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guest cabins through the supervision, direction, and coordination of the cabin keeper/cleaners. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Supervises cabin keepers/cleaners in the prompt and efficient housekeeping of guest cabinsEnsures that all cabins have been cleaned by checking cabin keepers' progress at the end of the daySupervises the completion of short notice requests for cabin changesInspects all check out cabins after they are made up to ensure they are cleaned to Company standards. Monitors quality of cabins by conducting and documenting inspections of cleaned roomsPrepares maintenance work orders in regard to replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.Ensures completion by following through on ordersChecks the status of cabins on an ongoing basis and notifies cabin cleaners of any changes Checks VIP cabinsChecks early morning make-up cabinsCoordinates cleaning of cabins for proper prioritization of customer requests; VIP cabins, checkout cabins, etc.Assures cleaning supplies and tools are properly stored at the end of the day. Assists in monthly inventory of all linen and cleaning suppliesTakes every opportunity to amaze the guests and has a strong ownership over ITREnsures all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all Company standards are being appliedResponsible for assisting with the recruiting, training, and direction of new department associatesEnsure all Housekeeping quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.Coordinate activities with other departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenues while maintaining high levels of guest expectation.Attends meetings related to budgetary, and brand standards compliance of the property.Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.

Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.

This job requires the ability to perform the following:

Work tasks are completed in varying indoor and outdoor settings: must be able to work in all weather conditions as well as temperature controlled environments.Walking and standing are required for close to 100% of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the company on a timely basis.Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular and continuing basis.Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on occasion.Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning/inspection tasks.Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinatesVision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.Other:

Being passionate about people and service.Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.Basic math skills are used frequently when handling guest payments and assisting with inventory.Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.MUST have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or major holidays. Availability is needed from 7am to 11pm.
