Program Manager
Sussex, WI
Waukesha Metal Products is seeking a Program Manager to oversee customer programs from concept through production while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. If you enjoy building customer relationships, managing complex manufacturing programs, and collaborating with engineering, quality, tooling, and production teams, we'd love to hear from you!

Waukesha Metal Products is seeking a Program Manager to oversee customer programs from concept through production while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, leading cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products, manage customer expectations, and drive projects to completion.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Provide engineering and program launch support
- Coordinate and supervise the research, design and construction of tools, fixtures, dies, gages and other tooling
- Leads APQP process for new customer programs
- Review performance against operating plan, standards and budgets
- Develop budgets and objectives
- Development and implement productivity and cost-down improvement plans
- Facilitate team development activities
- Prepare quotes as required, supplying customers with costs and lead times for tooling and manufactured parts
- Provide customer support
- Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to position
- Understand and follow health, safety, security, quality, and environmental practices as required for IATF, 19649/ISO 9001:2015
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of related manufacturing or program management experience.
- Equivalent experience as a Tool & Die Maker or other relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.
- Experience leading projects or cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Experience managing new product launches and manufacturing programs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and 3D models.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
