Senior Deal Desk Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Deal Desk Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding complex commercial decisions across a global B2B technology business.
You will serve as a senior authority on non-standard pricing, complex reseller opportunities, and commercial agreement structures.
Working closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance, you will balance growth opportunities with commercial and pricing risk.
The role combines strategic judgment with hands-on deal management, negotiation, and operational execution.
You will also lead and develop a Deal Desk team, establishing priorities, improving processes, and sharing best practices.
Your insights will help shape commercial strategy while supporting major business initiatives in a fast-moving technology environment.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced commercial leader who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and measurable business impact.

Accountabilities
  • Provide strategic oversight and senior-level decision-making for non-standard pricing requests across global markets, complex reseller RFPs, and customized commercial agreements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with sales teams, resellers, and direct customers to finalize pricing agreements, amendments, and complex deal structures.
  • Manage and prioritize the Deal Desk queue, ensuring requests are reviewed and resolved efficiently within established service-level timelines.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure proposed deal structures are operationally feasible and aligned with commercial policies.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert and primary escalation point for complex commercial scenarios requiring strong business judgment.
  • Assess pricing structures, commercial terms, and deal risks to support sound and profitable business decisions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Deal Desk team members, sharing expertise, best practices, and feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Establish team priorities, allocate cases strategically, and ensure timely resolution of high-priority commercial requests.
  • Work with leadership to provide performance feedback, identify development opportunities, and support team training initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic global initiatives and help strengthen commercial processes, governance, and execution across the organization.
Requirements
  • 5–8 years of experience in Deal Desk, commercial pricing, revenue operations, or a similar function within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience negotiating pricing, structuring complex deals, and evaluating commercial risk.
  • Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify underlying business drivers and make well-reasoned decisions.
  • Experience working with CPQ or deal management platforms; DealHub experience is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, including coaching and developing employees.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across different organizational levels.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including identifying business needs, developing solutions, and managing initiatives through completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex commercial matters clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic mindset with strong prioritization skills and the flexibility to adapt as business conditions and priorities evolve.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build effective relationships across Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, Finance, and other functions.
  • Strong technical proficiency with business productivity tools, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and relatively flat organizational environment.
Benefits
  • Annual base salary range of $120,000–$160,000 USD.
  • Flexible working arrangements supporting both remote and in-person collaboration.
  • Home office reimbursement program.
  • Competitive medical and dental benefits.
  • Retirement savings program.
  • Baby bonus and parental leave top-up program.
  • Online learning, professional development, and networking opportunities.
  • Electric vehicle purchase incentive program.
  • Flexible work environment designed to support work-life balance.
  • Cloud-based collaboration tools and asynchronous working practices.
  • Virtual social events and opportunities to stay connected with colleagues.
  • Additional perks and benefits available to eligible full-time permanent employees.
