Manager, Pharmacy Business in Gastonia, North Carolina at CaroMont Health

Job Summary: Provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of pharmacy business, financial, inventory, contracting, Retail Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, and drug supply chain functions. Ensure 340B program compliance, direct service line budget and financial performance, and advance initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, revenue growth, and cost stewardship while leading Optimization Specialists, pharmacists and technicians across Retail Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, the Anticoagulation Clinic, the business analyst, and pharmacy purchasing team.

Qualifications: Masters degree in a business related field or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from a recognized college or university; NC pharmacist license required within 3 months of hire; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. Three years’ experience in hospital pharmacy with emphasis on drug supply chain. Knowledge and experience of budget process, 340B drug program, drug formulary management, reimbursement, data analysis, revenue cycle, and PAP (Patient Assistance Programs). Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Applications.
