QA Tester- Remote- Hartford, CT in Hartford, Connecticut at INFO ORIGIN INC

Seeking an experienced Application Tester to support an integrated Criminal Justice Information (CJI) sharing system, ensuring system quality, security, and compliance with state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system testing, UAT, requirements validation, and regression testing.
• Create test cases, execute tests, document results, and report/manage defects.
• Support defect resolution and provide testing process guidance.
• Test new releases and validate requirements/traceability matrices.
• Develop, maintain, and expand automation frameworks and test suites.
• Integrate automated testing with DevOps and collaborate on framework architecture.
• Prepare testing reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or related field.
• 5–7 years of IT testing experience.
• Experience with NIEM XML or complex XML standards.
• Manual web-service testing using SOAP UI/Postman.
• Experience with SOA technologies and complex MS SQL queries.
• Proficiency in C# or Java, scripting, and data-driven automation testing.
• Experience with Extent Reports, GitHub, and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of large integrated systems and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• IBM Rational Jazz Suite experience is a plus.
