Patient Service Rep – Medical Records/Front Desk - High Risk OB Consultants in Knoxville, Tennessee at University Physicians' Association

High Risk OB office is searching for a full-time, experienced individual with general office duties to join our team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks in medical records and front desk.

Job Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday

Full benefits package available with pay in the 90th percentile.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Answering phones
• Filing patient information into appropriate chart
• Requesting medical records from referring offices
• Completion of medical record requests within appropriate timeframe
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking in patients and confirming demographics/insurance
• Collecting co-pays and asking for payments on balances
• Checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
• Maintain quality and accurate records.
• Make sure all medical records are protected and kept confidential in compliance with HIPAA.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Physical requirements – sitting, standing, walking, lifting
