Production Manager in Pageland, South Carolina at GardenCore LLC

GardenCore is looking for a Production Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to support all aspects of a fast-paced lawn & garden products manufacturing facility. Daily duties include monitoring key metrics, safety, production flow and material costs.

The GardenCore Production Manager will work onsite in Pageland, SC.

Responsibilities

• Implementing process improvement methods and ensuring non-stop operations and ongoing production in an effective, safe and profitable manner
• Knowledge of raw materials and processes to meet business and production schedules
• Responsible for inventory management, labor, production efficiency and cost controls
• Providing leadership to staff, assessing performance, scheduling and directing all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency
• Ensuring workplace safety through implementation, adherence and enforcement of company business standards, as well as safety and development programs

• 2-year degree, and/or equivalent combination(s) of education, industry experience and training
• 2+ years manufacturing management experience
• Must have skills in training employees: planning, assigning and directing work
• Must have excellent multi-tasking, analytical and communication skills
• Must have mechanical knowledge of machines, equipment, and tools, including repair and maintenance
• Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred
• Experience with heavy equipment and machinery

Work Schedule

• 6:00AM - 4:30PM / Monday - Friday
• 6:00AM - 12:00PM on Saturdays

Compensation

• Annual salary of $65,000 - $72,000 per year
