As a Scale Buyer / Customer Relationship Representative, you'll serve as the front line of our business. You'll purchase scrap metals, educate customers, solve problems, and create an experience that keeps customers choosing Beacon over the competition.

This is not a behind-the-scenes administrative role.

This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys building trust, communicating confidently, and becoming known as the person customers want to work with.

• Identify, grade, weigh, and purchase ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Explain pricing and grading decisions with confidence and professionalism
• Educate customers on material preparation and quality standards
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Learn market conditions and material values

• Maintain a clean, organized, professional scale environment
• Keep customer traffic moving efficiently
• Work closely with yard, warehouse, and commercial teams
• Identify opportunities to improve service and operations
• Represent Beacon's values and reputation in every interaction

• Metal recycling or scrap industry experience
• Scale operation experience
• Material grading experience
• Experience purchasing materials or working directly with customers
