Pitt-Bradford is welcoming applications for Office Manager in the Office of Residence Life and Housing. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs/Director of Residence Life and Housing, this full-time position serves as the first point of contact, in person, by phone, and by email, for students, families, and guests. Responsible for daily office operations and supporting the department's professional and student staff.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree and five years of relevant work experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced computer literacy with spreadsheet and database experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Experience with budget management, account reconciliation, and report creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people and at all levels.

Supports senior level roles in a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions as well as specialized technical support for academic or administrative departments.
Essential Functions
- Serves as the front-facing point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the housing office.
- Provides clerical, customer service, and computer support for the office, including word processing, reception, ID card creation, and generating reports and rosters.
- Responsible for maintaining confidential information about residential students; including room assignments, meal plans, and housing applications/contracts.
Tracks spending, purchases department needs, and reconciles budget for final review, while helping to maintain vendor relationships.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
