Community Residence Supervisor - OMH Programs

Full-time position: Tuesday–Saturday

*Requires one evening shift per week* (except Wednesdays)

Salary: $33.95/hour (non-exempt)

Location: Glen Head, NY

In this role as Community Residence Supervisor, you will:

    Assist in the oversight of the program. This includes supervision and training of program staff.Ensure quality services are provided to each resident through person-centered planning and maximize opportunities for integration within the community.Monitor and document the delivery of all services.Participate in the departmental on-call system.Assist with the completion and submission of all paperwork required within established program deadlines.Assist in maintaining residential rental and financial accounts while ensuring fiscal integrity.Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, restorative services, assistance in negotiating community activities and crisis management services.Monitor, train and assist residents in all programs in household maintenance activities to ensure a clean, safe and homelike environment. Directly participate in household maintenance activities when required.Provide training, supervision and assistance to residents in daily activities including food purchases, recreational activities, and meal planning and personal care activities.Assist residents in developing meaningful service plan goals and provide supports to assist residents in achieving their goals.

We require:

    Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum two (2) years of experience working in the field of Human Services.Minimum six (6) months of management/supervisory experience preferred.Knowledge of OMH regulations and systems preferred.Must have a New York driver’s license and clean driving record.
