This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - APAC in India.
This role is focused on driving regional growth and expanding market presence across the APAC region within a global education and certification ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with training providers, enterprises, government bodies, and academic institutions to accelerate adoption of professional certification programs. The position requires a strong mix of commercial acumen, consultative selling, and cross-cultural communication skills. You will operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, shaping go-to-market execution across multiple countries. This is a highly autonomous role where success is measured by pipeline development, revenue growth, and long-term partner engagement. You will collaborate closely with global marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment with regional market needs.
You will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies across the APAC region, driving revenue and expanding strategic partnerships.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across multiple APAC markets, ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across corporates, government organizations, and training institutions
- Drive B2B sales of certification and training products, including PRINCE2 and related offerings
- Execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business objectives and local market dynamics
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to enhance brand visibility
- Collaborate with global marketing, product, and support teams to optimize go-to-market execution
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and report progress against regional targets
- Resolve client and partner issues in coordination with internal support teams to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify new market opportunities and support expansion into untapped territories
This role requires strong regional business development experience, consultative selling skills, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across APAC markets.
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management across APAC regions
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA in IT, Business, or related fields
- Strong experience in multi-country sales and channel development environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse cultural contexts
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling approaches
- Exposure to education, certification, consulting, or IT services industries is highly desirable
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 or similar certification frameworks is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong digital literacy; experience with CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
- Highly organized, target-driven, and comfortable working in a remote international environment
