Position Title: Talent Analyst/ Sr Talent Analyst

Location: Des Moines, IA, United States

Description:
This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.

Talent Analyst/ Sr Talent Analyst

The talent analyst supports talent management programs including recruiting, onboarding, career development, performance management and succession planning. Serves as system administrator, analyzing and resolving system issues, and recommending, testing and implementing enhancements to meet business needs. Provides system training, documentation and support to all system users. Responsible for compliance reporting such as affirmative action and EEO-1 audits.

Responsibilities:
Supports the administration and effective use of various talent management systems that enable recruiting, onboarding, career development, performance management and succession planning.

Provides day-to-day support to system users by researching questions, troubleshooting issues, monitoring cases and coordinating resolution with IT or vendors as needed.

Leads the analysis, testing, configuration, and implementation of system updates, enhancements, and process improvements.

Assess system functionality, integration needs and user requirements to support efficient and effective talent management processes.

Extracts, audits and analyzes data from talent management systems to support business needs, reporting requests and compliance requirements.

Maintains system documentation, procedures, and job aids and provides training and communication to end users regarding system processes, updates and changes.

Monitors data quality across talent management systems by auditing records, identifying issues and helping ensure accurate, complete and compliant system information.

Partners with HR, business stakeholders and IT to support system functionality, integrations and continuous improvement efforts related to talent processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management, information technology or related field or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)

Three years of experience in human resources systems and reporting, information technology or a related area which includes system administration and reporting; five years of experience for the senior level.

Previous experience with human resources data and talent management processes, data and reporting is required.

Previous experience with applicant tracking and other talent management systems is a plus.

Demonstrated proficiency in software skills to extract and analyze data.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills; ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms, including presentation and training skills.

Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
