This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, experimentation, and user journey optimization, focused on helping users discover value faster and expand their engagement across a complex software platform. You will lead a high-performing, globally distributed engineering team responsible for improving acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization through data-driven experimentation. The role combines people leadership with strong technical involvement, requiring you to guide architecture decisions, support fullstack engineering execution, and ensure high-quality delivery of growth-focused initiatives. You will work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Analytics teams to translate insights into scalable product improvements. A key part of the role involves building a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and AI-driven innovation. This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced, product-led environments and enjoys shaping both teams and systems at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing Growth engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to define and deliver initiatives that improve user acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Own end-to-end delivery for growth initiatives, including planning, prioritization, execution, and measurement of experiment-driven outcomes.
  • Drive experimentation frameworks, including hypothesis definition, ICE prioritization, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Guide technical design and architectural decisions for fullstack growth experiments and product improvements.
  • Ensure strong collaboration across product boundaries, supporting smooth execution of cross-team initiatives and clear ownership alignment.
  • Analyze experiment results and product metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and scale successful solutions.
  • Promote AI-native workflows and experimentation practices to accelerate product iteration and user value delivery.
  • Foster strong asynchronous communication practices across a globally distributed team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing engineering or product engineering teams, ideally in growth, product-led, or experimentation-driven environments.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to guide fullstack engineering decisions and architectural discussions.
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments with Product, Design, Data, and Analytics teams.
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable growth outcomes through experimentation and iterative development.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, product analytics, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and product concepts into clear, actionable direction for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience managing remote or globally distributed engineering teams in asynchronous environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, team development, and high-performance culture building.
  • Familiarity with developer tools and product-led growth environments is an advantage.
  • Interest in AI-driven development workflows and applying emerging technologies to improve product outcomes.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
  • Equity opportunities aligned with long-term company growth.
  • Flexible, fully remote-friendly working model across Canada and beyond.
  • Strong focus on experimentation, innovation, and AI-enabled engineering practices.
  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits.
  • Generous time off and policies supporting work-life balance.
  • Learning and development support, including career growth programs and internal mobility.
  • Opportunity to lead impactful growth initiatives in a globally scaled product environment.
