Automotive Service Technician (Tire & Lube) in Jamaica, New York at NU3S

NU3S Auto Care has recently opened, and we're looking for motivated, hands-on Lube & Tire Technicians to help us build an exceptional service team from the ground up.

As a Lube & Tire Technician, you will be responsible for providing quality maintenance services and supporting the overall operations of the Auto Care Center.

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and preventative maintenance services
• Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Check and top off vehicle fluids, batteries, belts, and filters
• Assist with brake inspections and basic automotive services
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
• Support team operations and assist in other service areas as needed
• Deliver excellent customer service and professionally explain recommended services
• Stay informed on automotive industry trends, technologies, and EV maintenance practices

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a lube, tire, quick service, or automotive maintenance role preferred
• Knowledge of oil changes, tire services, and basic vehicle maintenance
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Ability to lift tires, equipment, and other automotive materials
• Flexibility to work weekends and varying schedules as business needs require
