Job Description

Accertify enables commerce by doing one thing extraordinarily well: pinpointing fraud. The company's Predictive Yes Platform helps businesses say yes to more - more good customers, more revenue, and more growth - without getting burned. It's a precise, confident, data-backed yes, made possible by joining signals across the entire customer lifecycle through unmatched data volume, layered AI-powered models, and a consortium approach that protects clients from bad actors spotted anywhere in the network while unlocking business with good actors verified anywhere in the network. With more than 10 billion transactions and over $1 trillion in commerce processed in 2025 alone, Accertify delivers the intelligence and precision that fraud and payments teams need to say yes confidently and enable growth. That's the More Yes difference.

We're hiring a hands-on marketer to own how Accertify is discovered, understood, and cited — across traditional search, AI-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini), and our own website. As AI reshapes how buyers find and evaluate vendors, this role determines whether we show up in that conversation — and turns that visibility into real marketing interactions, qualified leads, and sales pipeline.

You'll work the tools yourself. You'll direct a small developer resource, a small paid media resource, and a social/brand intern, extending your capacity on anything beyond WordPress-level web changes, scaled campaign execution, or social content output — but you're the one in Profound, SEMrush, GA4, Google Ads, and WordPress every week. You'll partner closely with our ABM/Demand Gen Manager and our Events/Digital Experiences Manager, so visibility work, campaigns, and events reinforce each other rather than running in parallel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

What You'll Own:

AEO / GEO & Search Visibility (primary focus ~50% of the role)

  • Own our visibility, accuracy, and citation frequency across AI answer engines and traditional organic search
  • Run prompt-level, platform-level, and competitor-level analysis using Profound to understand why we're surfaced (or aren't), and turn findings into concrete content and technical actions
  • Use SEMrush for keyword, technical SEO, and competitive research; extend those findings into AEO-specific tactics — structured data (schema.org/JSON-LD), crawlability, and content formatting built for how AI models discover, index, and retrieve content
  • Approach AEO as an ongoing experiment, not a one-time setup — treat new tactics (schema changes, content restructuring, format tests) as hypotheses, and track which ones actually move citation and visibility metrics
  • Partner with our AI/LLM team on any new automation, integration, or tooling that supports AEO monitoring and reporting — every tool and system runs through our security/legal vetting process before use
  • Partner with content and portfolio marketing to shape a content engine built to be cited, not just ranked
  • Build recurring reporting that makes AI-search performance clear to leadership — visibility trend, citation share, sentiment, competitor positioning
  • Own our presence on review platforms (G2, Capterra, TrustRadius) as part of the broader answer-engine visibility strategy

Web & Paid Media Execution (~25% of the role)

  • Work directly in WordPress to update, optimize, and troubleshoot site content and structure — comfortable making changes yourself without waiting on dev for routine work
  • Own Google Analytics 4measurement and Google Ads campaign execution and optimization
  • Direct a small developer resource for anything beyond your own WordPress capability, and a small paid media resource for scaled campaign execution — you set the strategy and review performance, they extend your reach
  • Manage the Qualified AI Chat website conversational experience (or comparable tool) — a plus, not a requirement, to know this platform specifically going in

Social, Video & Brand Visibility (~15% of the role)

  • Direct a social/brand intern on organic social execution and content support — you set the strategy and quality bar; they help extend reach and output
  • Own our YouTube channel: content planning, publishing cadence, optimization (titles, descriptions, transcripts, chapters), and performance tracking
  • Understand how social and video signals feed AEO/GEO visibility — video transcripts and YouTube content are increasingly indexed and cited by AI answer engines, and consistent brand mentions across social channels reinforce the entity signals those engines use to establish authority and trust
  • Treat social and video as an extension of your answer-engine visibility strategy — the same content and messaging that earns citations in AI answers should show up again, reinforced, across YouTube and social

Connecting Your Work to Pipeline (~10% of the role)

  • Your end goal is generating marketing interactions, qualified leads, and sales pipeline — so you need to know how Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) turn the traffic, content, and campaigns you drive into those outcomes
  • Make sure everything you build — landing pages, campaigns, chat flows — is instrumented correctly to flow cleanly into that system
  • Partner closely with our Marketing Automation/RevOps team, who own lead scoring, routing, and nurture builds, so your work is built for what actually converts downstream
  • Work in step with our ABM/Demand Gen Manager and Events/Digital Experiences Manager so your visibility and content work fuels their campaigns and event programs, and their audience insights sharpen where you focus next

Skills & Qualifications:

Required, hands-on proficiency

  • AEO-forward mindset — genuine understanding of how LLMs and answer engines discover, index, retrieve, evaluate, and cite content, not just traditional SEO
  • Direct experience with Profound (or comparable AEO/AI-visibility monitoring platform)
  • Direct experience with SEMrush
  • Comfortable working inside WordPress for day-to-day content and structural changes
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 4andGoogle Ads
  • Salesforce—required, at a working-knowledge level (understanding data flow and pipeline impact, not administration)
  • Comfortable managing a YouTube channel end-to-end and directing a junior/intern-level social resource
  • Comfortable operating in a SOC 2 compliant, security-conscious enterprise environment— every new tool, integration, or automation goes through legal and security vetting before use; this role requires patience and discipline around that process, not the “find it, turn it on, connect it” instinct of a scrappy startup or B2C environment

Required, working knowledge

  • Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) — enough to understand lead flow and collaborate with the team that owns it; you will not be building nurture programs or managing lead scoring/routing

Strong pluses

  • Familiarity with Qualified or comparable Salesforce-native conversational/chat platforms
  • B2B enterprise technology marketing background
  • Prior experience working in a regulated, security-conscious, or SOC 2/compliance-driven environment (fraud prevention, fintech, cybersecurity, healthcare, or similar)

Why This Role Matters:

The AEO/GEO discipline is moving fast, and few marketers have real depth in it yet. Getting this right early — while most B2B enterprise brands are still figuring it out — is a real edge for how Accertify is discovered and chosen. You'll have developer support, paid media support, a social/brand intern, close partnership with our ABM/Demand Gen Manager and Events/Digital Experiences Manager, and RevOps working alongside you, so discoverability work — across search, web, video, and social — turns directly into interactions, leads, and pipeline.

Additional Details:

  • Location: 2 Pierce Place, Suite 900, Itasca, IL 60143
  • Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in-office per week). Remote work flexibility will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
