Description:
Job Summary:
The Senior Business Development Manager is a strategic, high-impact sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and shaping Flueid's market expansion. This individual operates at the intersection of sales and strategy — identifying high-value opportunities, navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, closing significant deals, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders alike. The Senior Business Development Manager also plays a key mentorship role, guiding BDRs and collaborating with leadership to refine go-to-market strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the full sales cycle for strategic and enterprise-level accounts, from initial engagement through contract close
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities across target verticals including lenders, title agents, and real estate technology companies
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, executives, and influencers at target organizations
- Identify new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities to expand Flueid's footprint and revenue streams
- Work closely with BDRs to review qualified pipeline, provide feedback, and ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on target accounts
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align Flueid's offerings with market needs and client feedback
- Lead high-stakes presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with senior stakeholders at prospective client organizations
- Develop account plans, territory strategies, and revenue forecasts in partnership with sales leadership
- Represent Flueid at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities Required
Skills/Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience a plus
- 5+ years of progressive B2B sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience in real estate technology, title insurance, mortgage, fintech, or related industries strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles (3–12 months) and navigate enterprise buying processes
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker who can identify and create opportunities, not just respond to inbound interest
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales intelligence tools
- Experience mentoring or leading junior sales professionals is a plus
- Highly self-directed with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or quantitative productivity standards.
