About the Role:

The Prevention Manager plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive prevention strategies aimed at reducing risks and promoting safety within the organization and the communities it serves. This position requires a strategic thinker who can analyze data, identify potential threats, and design proactive programs that address those risks effectively. The Prevention Manager collaborates with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and community organizations, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of prevention initiatives. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in prevention program management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and prevention best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective prevention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within community-based organizations or public sector agencies.
  • Certification in prevention or risk management (e.g., Certified Prevention Specialist).
  • Familiarity with data analysis software and program evaluation techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing and securing funding for prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities:
