Reporting to the Racing Pari-Mutuel Operations Manager, Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is looking for a Full Time Mutuel Clerk to join our Off Track Betting (OTB) team for horse racing.
The Role
This position is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for mutuel and off-track betting (OTB) equipment including computers, printers, decoders, and other wagering-related hardware. The role ensures optimal functionality of wagering systems at both on-site and remote OTB locations, contributing to a seamless guest experience and operational integrity in accordance with Horse Racing Alberta and the Canadian Pari-mutuel Agency terms and conditions.
What You’ll Do
- Provides timely technical support for mutuel and OTB wagering systems.
- Diagnoses and resolves equipment issues including kiosks, printers, and decoders.
- Installs, configures, and tests new equipment as needed.
- Coordinates with mutuel staff and OTB partners to ensure equipment uptime.
- Maintains inventory of technical supplies and replacement parts.
- Documents all service calls, repairs, and equipment updates.
- Assists with software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Travels to OTB locations throughout Alberta for on-site support and maintenance.
- Communicates clearly with team members and external vendors.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to carry out responsibilities with limited supervision
Education:
High school diploma. Technical training or equivalent work experience in equipment repair or IT support preferred
