Job Description

Partner Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Success Manager based in the United States.

As a Partner Success Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening and expanding relationships across a strategic software partner ecosystem.
You will combine relationship management, project oversight, functional enablement, and operational improvement to help partners build scalable and high-performing practices.
The role serves as a bridge between implementation partners and internal customer success, support, enablement, engineering, and alliance teams.
You will monitor implementation health, guide partners through delivery challenges, and help ensure successful customer outcomes and adoption.
The position also provides opportunities to improve partner processes, develop enablement programs, and establish stronger governance frameworks.
Success requires strong consulting, project management, communication, technical, and financial business skills in a collaborative remote environment.
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a self-directed professional who enjoys solving complex problems and helping others succeed.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for implementation partners, ensuring they have access to the resources, technical guidance, and functional support required for successful delivery.
  • Lead regular partner status meetings, reviewing project progress, delivery concerns, timelines, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with partners and provide guidance on partner health, growth plans, capabilities, and future priorities.
  • Coordinate with Partner Alliances and internal teams such as Support, Remote Consulting, Partner Enablement, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve partner needs efficiently.
  • Monitor partner-led implementations, review project plans, and provide recommendations designed to improve delivery quality, timelines, customer satisfaction, and go-live success.
  • Identify delivery risks and escalate concerns appropriately while helping partners develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Assess partner capabilities and provide input regarding partner leveling, skill development, and overall readiness.
  • Encourage partners to establish and maintain Centers of Excellence (COEs) and use internal resources effectively.
  • Review partner cases and project deliverables to identify opportunities for additional enablement, support, or process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver partner enablement content, including functional information, product updates, solution materials, online courses, and training resources.
  • Identify opportunities to improve partner processes, proactive enablement, services, and project governance to reduce customer escalations.
  • Create standard operating procedures and documentation for projects and help establish scalable governance frameworks.
  • Conduct gap analyses with alliance stakeholders to strengthen partner processes, project management practices, and delivery frameworks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot functional or implementation issues and provide concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining clear communication, documentation, and timely follow-through.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, stakeholder management, or account management.
  • At least 5 years of consulting or functional account management experience supporting software implementations, ideally involving CPM/EPM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and the ability to translate complex functional concepts into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent project management, organization, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trust, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver constructive feedback regarding implementation performance.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with technical, functional, and business audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, diagnose problems, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and motivated by continuous learning and enabling others.
  • Experience creating project status updates, recommendations, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with SQL, C#, VB.NET, Visual Basic, or other object-oriented programming languages is a plus.
  • Experience with EPM/CPM product scalability and performance, Azure-based SaaS platforms, or application telemetry tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with EPM solutions such as SAP BPC, SAP BOFC/Cartesis, Hyperion, FDM, IBM Cognos, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions such as BlackLine, Trintech, Workiva, or comparable partner-implemented platforms is beneficial.
  • A master’s degree, MBA, MFA, professional accounting designation, or relevant technology/accounting certification is preferred.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Benefits:
  • Base salary of $99,000–$128,500 per year, with final compensation based on experience, skills, location, and other objective job-related criteria.
  • Additional variable compensation may apply.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Dental and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Vacation time and paid holidays.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
  • Variety of project work across different industries and partner environments.
  • Full-time remote work within the United States.
  • Collaborative culture focused on customer success, professional development, and strong team relationships.
