This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career product professional who wants to build expertise in AI product management within a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with Product Management leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI-powered research companion capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to communicate customer needs, market insights, product feedback, and evolving requirements.
  • Participate in calls with library customers and publishers to explain product capabilities, understand needs, gather feedback, and strengthen relationships.
  • Support customer and end-user beta testing programs, helping coordinate feedback and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
  • Define relevant product metrics and evaluate the impact of AI research functionality after launch, using insights to inform future improvements.
  • Help prepare and deliver stakeholder updates covering product progress, customer feedback, performance, opportunities, and key decisions.
  • Translate customer and market needs into business requirements for future roadmap initiatives in collaboration with other Product Managers.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction teams to support successful product development and adoption.
  • Contribute to the evolution of AI-powered research workflows and conversational experiences that help users discover and engage with research content.
  • Build product knowledge and develop a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and emerging AI capabilities.
Requirements
  • 0–2 years of Product Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong product thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background is preferred.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Product Management, particularly within AI-enabled products and research technologies.
  • Demonstrated interest in working directly with customers, publishers, partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, generative AI, large language models, or AI-powered research workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams and build credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain product concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and curious mindset with an interest in defining metrics, evaluating product performance, and turning feedback into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing environment and incorporate user feedback into product decisions.
  • Experience designing or building AI-powered research workflows or integrating large language models into user-facing solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Basic understanding of the library industry, research workflows, academic information needs, or how libraries use digital research platforms is preferred.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving, with enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies and product practices.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $62,925–$89,890, with the final offer determined by skills, qualifications, education, training, experience, and work location.
  • Remote work flexibility for employees located outside the designated 30-mile radius of hub offices.
  • Hybrid collaboration model for eligible employees located within 30 miles of hub offices, with one designated in-office day per week.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and disability insurance.

  • Retirement savings plan.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Paid holidays and paid time off.
  • Mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across Product Management, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI agents, large language models, conversational research experiences, and customer-facing AI products.
  • Opportunity to participate in customer beta programs and help shape emerging AI-powered research solutions.
