About the Role:

The Manager in Training (MIT) position is designed to develop future retail leaders by providing comprehensive hands-on experience in managing store operations. This role focuses on equipping candidates with the skills necessary to oversee daily retail activities, lead teams effectively, and drive sales performance while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The MIT will learn to manage inventory, analyze sales data, and implement merchandising strategies to optimize store profitability. Additionally, the role involves understanding and enforcing company policies, health and safety regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. Upon successful completion of the training program, the candidate will be prepared to assume full managerial responsibilities and contribute to the long-term success of the retail location.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience with demonstrated customer service skills.
• 3 years retail management or
• 5 years retail sales
• Basic understanding of retail operations and sales principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Support and lead store associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure accurate merchandising.
• Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements within the store.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and developing store team members.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement marketing and promotional initiatives.
