Were seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist to join our growing team as a Core Faculty Member in our new Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. As a Core Faculty Member, youll have meaningful, protected non-clinical time dedicated to academic responsibilitiesnot squeezed in after hours.

Youll have the opportunity to:

Develop and lead the pediatric radiology curriculum for our new Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program

Mentor residents in research and quality improvement projects

Support resident presentations at state and national meetings

Teach medical students and residents from other specialties

Receive an academic appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine

Your practice will include a rewarding mix of pediatric and adult imaging in a collaborative subspecialty environment.

Highlights include:

Approximately 50% pediatric / 50% adult imaging

Variety of subspecialty and general radiology cases

Reading for a busy Level I Trauma Center and thrombectomy-capable stroke center

Primarily weekday schedule (8:00 AM5:00/6:00 PM)

Swing shifts (Noon8:00 PM) approximately once every three weeks

Evening shifts (5:00 PM11:00 PM) approximately once every three weeks

Only three weekends per year

No mammography requirements

Youll also participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives.
