Sr. Associate, Vision Care Field Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Associate, Vision Care Field Sales based in Canada.

This is a field-based sales opportunity focused on helping Eye Care Practitioners deliver better outcomes for their patients and practices.
You will manage a defined territory covering Montreal East, the North Shore, and Abitibi, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals.
The role combines consultative selling, product education, territory planning, analytics, and customer engagement.
You will use business insights and structured account strategies to identify growth opportunities and influence product recommendations.
Success requires strong commercial judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to translate customer needs into relevant solutions.
You will collaborate with regional teams and participate in conferences, educational programs, and industry events across the territory and North America.
This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative eye care solutions while developing your sales, business, and leadership capabilities in a growing environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Build trusted customer relationships using a consultative approach to understand the needs of Eye Care Practitioners, their patients, and their practices, then align relevant products and solutions to unmet needs.
  • Drive territory sales growth by influencing customer behaviors and encouraging the prescription and recommendation of innovative eye care products as preferred solutions.
  • Provide product and technical consultation to healthcare professionals, communicating scientific information and appropriate product usage clearly and credibly.
  • Develop and execute a structured territory strategy, leveraging account information, territory mapping, call-reporting data, sales data, and other analytical tools to prioritize opportunities.
  • Plan and execute daily customer calls and territory routing, focusing time and resources on accounts with the greatest revenue potential.
  • Maintain strong customer service standards, responding to requests within 24 hours, following up on customer interactions, and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Use data and business insights to tailor customer engagement strategies and deliver a high-quality experience to each account.
  • Support regional and local conferences and customer events, coordinating priorities, responsibilities, stakeholder engagement, and networking activities.
  • Organize continuing education opportunities within the territory and coordinate with other teams or divisions when appropriate.
  • Contribute to regional sales strategy, identifying market opportunities and supporting initiatives designed to increase business performance.
  • Travel within the assigned territory and across North America as required for customer meetings, conferences, educational events, and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally with experience in a consultative or healthcare-related sales environment.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in health sciences, preferably within eye care, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another related healthcare sector.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into commercial actions.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage a territory strategically.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging and influencing healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, as well as experience using computerized sales administration or CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and execute against structured territory plans, while collaborating effectively with regional and cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Degree in Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 1–5 years of industry experience in eye care, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or a comparable healthcare environment.
  • Preferred: Leadership, marketing, and financial knowledge that can strengthen territory planning and commercial decision-making.
Benefits
  • Competitive sales career opportunity within a growing and innovative eye care environment.
  • Remote field-based work, with flexibility to manage customer activities across the assigned territory.
  • Strategic professional development opportunities designed to strengthen current skills and expand exposure to different areas of the business.
  • Career growth opportunities within a global healthcare and eye care environment.
  • Meaningful work and mission-driven impact, contributing to products and solutions designed to improve sight and quality of life.
  • Travel opportunities, including up to 20% travel within the assigned territory.
  • Additional North American travel for conferences, educational programs, and training, which may occasionally include evenings and weekends.
  • Customer-facing networking opportunities with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborative regional environment with opportunities to contribute to broader sales initiatives and business development.
