Sales Representative in Corpus Christi, Texas at Select Mat Services, LLC

Select Mat is seeking a motivated and adaptable Sales Representative for the South Texas area. In this position the Sales Representative will promote products or services to customers and build relationships to help drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge about products and services
• Identifying prospective customers and converting leads
• Contacting existing customers to discuss ongoing needs
• Demonstrating how products and services offer solutions for clients
• Creating quotes and sales proposals
• Participating with negotiating prices, terms and other elements of sales agreements
• Attending trade shows and networking events

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Active listening to understand customer concerns, needs and preferences
• Persuasion and negotiation skills to help overcome client objections.
• Knowledge of customer relationship management
• Presentation skills for explaining products and services to individuals and groups

• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
• Generate and submit sales reports to management

Technical:
• Microsoft Office Suite, heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems
