Lucky Bastard Saloon is seeking professional, high- energy, outgoing individuals with a positive attitude for the Bar Back position

This position requires an individual to have a high-level customer service mentality, strong attention to detail, and maintain a great environment for our guests. The Bar Back enhances the guests' overall experience through direct and indirect support to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning counters and tables and sanitizing surfaces, straitening barstools, ect.
• Restock bar supplies such as beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes and utensils to assist the bartenders with smooth service and minimal disruption to the guest
• Assist with food preparation tasks including, but not limited to, slicing garnishes
• Support guests, bartenders, and servers by bussing tables & the bar area, clearing empty glasses & plates, and helping keep the bar & additional seating area organized and inviting to guests
• Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure a positive guest experience that exceeds expectations and timely service
• Assist with guest service by running food from the kitchen, responding to guests' questions and requests for items such as silverware & condiments.

• Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with both front & back of house staff, and customers.
• Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and ensure safe and clean working environment.
• Must be able to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be familiar with food safety and handling procedures.
• Must be able to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time and safely navigate throughout the facility.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, reach frequently during each shift.
• Must be able to visually discern cleanliness and food & beverage quality.
• Must have a neat & professional appearance and pleasant & helpful attitude.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs infrequently.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment with flashing lights.
