Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Room Sorting Associate to support daily mailroom operations. This role is responsible for sorting, organizing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort incoming mail, packages, and deliveries by department or recipient
• Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling, postage, and shipment coordination
• Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and sorting machines
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and mail distribution
• Assist with organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient mailroom workspace
• Handle confidential documents and packages with care and professionalism
• Support team members with additional clerical or shipping tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous mailroom, warehouse, or sorting experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift packages up to [X] lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation

Work Environment
This position involves working in a fast-paced mailroom or distribution setting with frequent movement, sorting, and lifting.
