About This Position
Base Salary: $85,000–$110,000
Bonus: $2,000/month opportunity for the first 6 months while building into the position
(A long-term performance-based/rev-share bonus structure will be implemented after 6 months)

About the Role
DOPE Marketing is seeking a Director of Account Management to lead and scale our Account Management team — the department responsible for servicing and selling to active accounts on our DOPE 3.0 SaaS platform.
This is a sales-focused leadership role, overseeing a team that manages client relationships, drives retention, and generates expansion revenue through proactive account strategy.
You’ll manage a team of Account Managers, optimize structure and processes, and ensure our clients succeed and grow with DOPE.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and grow the Account Management team responsible for all active client relationships.
- Build systems to manage renewals, upsells, and client expansion.
- Create and track KPIs for retention, satisfaction, and sales growth.
- Drive outbound follow-up and re-engagement for at-risk accounts.
- Mentor account managers on strategy, performance, and communication.
- Collaborate with leadership on revenue forecasting and departmental goals.
- Partner with Sales and Onboarding to ensure smooth client transitions.
- Maintain accountability, structure, and culture across the team.
Who You Are
- Experienced leader with 3–5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales Leadership.
- Proven success managing Account Managers or Account Executives in a SaaS or technology setting.
- Strong background in sales management and client growth.
- Experience in startup or fast-growth companies preferred.
- Skilled at building systems, structure, and team accountability.
- Strong communicator with excellent organizational and coaching abilities.
- Proficient in HighLevel CRM, Google Workspace, and reporting tools.
- On-site leadership presence required at DOPE Headquarters in Eagan, MN.
Training & Onboarding
You’ll complete a 2-week leadership onboarding focused on:
- DOPE’s proprietary DOPE 3.0 platform
- HighLevel CRM systems and reporting
- Account management playbooks and sales enablement tools
- Communication tools (Slack & Google Suite)
You’ll be supported by DOPE’s leadership team to align your department with company goals and client success metrics.
