Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) will lead strategic evaluation, execution, and integration of inorganic growth opportunities across the company’s portfolio. Reporting into the Portfolio Strategy team, this role partners closely with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, R&D, and Commercial leaders to assess acquisition targets, structure deals, and ensure strategic value creation post-close.
The Mergers & Acquisition role works directly with executive leadership to shape enterprise growth priorities and translate long-term strategy into actionable initiatives across marketing, R&D, and commercial teams.
This role is designed for a strategic thinker and operator who can identify opportunities based on clear analytical frameworks. The position will work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure that Samyang’s portfolio strategy and sustainable growth model is sufficient for the growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end M&A activities including target identification, business case development, valuation, diligence, and deal execution.
Develop strategic rationales for acquisitions aligned to portfolio and long-range growth strategies.
Own financial and strategic modeling, including synergies and integration value creation plans.
Coordinate cross-functional diligence workstreams and manage external advisors.
Support post-merger integration strategy, governance, and KPI tracking in partnership with integration leads.
Provide insights to executive leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and pipeline prioritization.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best-practice M&A processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
10+ years of experience, preferable in business management, M&A, corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, insights & analytics or related fields.
Strong experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
Experience in consumer goods, healthcare, food and beverages, life sciences, or technology-driven industries.
Prior exposure to post-merger integration or operating model design.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

The base salary for this position is between $120,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
