This is a high-impact strategic finance role focused on driving clarity and decision-making for a fast-scaling, consumer-facing business. You will own topline forecasting for a core growth pillar, directly influencing how revenue performance is understood and how future outcomes are modeled. The role sits within a small, high-visibility Strategic Finance team and partners closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Business Development, and Data Science. You will translate complex datasets into actionable insights that shape growth strategy, investment decisions, and operational priorities. With significant exposure to executive leadership, your work will directly inform planning cycles, board materials, and company-wide strategic initiatives. Accountabilities:- Own and maintain topline forecasting models for the core business, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with key operational drivers.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on revenue, unit economics, and growth metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, conversion, AOV, margin) to identify opportunities and risks.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Business Development, and Data Science to align assumptions, improve data quality, and translate insights into action.
- Develop executive-ready materials, including dashboards, narrative memos, and scenario analyses to support strategic and investment decisions.
- Lead initiative-level reporting across key programs, standardizing measurement and delivering clear performance readouts for leadership reviews.
- Support broader strategic finance activities including planning cycles, investor relations, and board-level reporting.
- Continuously improve and automate forecasting and reporting frameworks to enhance scalability, speed, and decision-making quality.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting roles.
- Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with proven ability to build driver-based financial models and scenario analyses.
- Experience owning forecasting, reporting, or performance analytics for a product, business unit, or revenue stream.
- Ability to distill complex datasets into clear, compelling business narratives for executive audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in data-driven environments.
- Preferred: experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, or consumer internet businesses.
- Preferred: SQL proficiency and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Preferred: experience preparing materials for executive leadership, board, or investor relations.
- MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credentials are a plus.
