Position Information
The University of California Riverside (UCR) Health is seeking primary care physicians (family medicine and internal medicine-pediatrics) to provide patient care in primarily community-based ambulatory clinical sites in Riverside County. The successful physician will embody clinical excellence and possess outstanding interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with patients and staff. The physician will be responsible for achieving quality and patient experience goals within a team-based care model.The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree, be board certified and/or eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals. The full salary range for the Primary Care positions are:-Associate Physician Diplomate (board certified + 1 year exp): $142,100 - $348,100; expected pay scale for this position is up to $260,000 annually.-Associate Physician (board eligible + 1 year exp); expected pay scale for this position is up to $240,000 annually.-Assistant Physician (board eligible); expected pay scale for this position is up to $220,000 annually.These annual rates are at 100% FTE appointment. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
